2017 Halter Ranch Synthesis
From Paso Robles, CA in the Adelaida district, this wine is 78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Malbec and 6% Petit Verdot. Aged for 18 months in French Oak barrels, 30% new. Halter Ranch grows over 100 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon on their estate. This wine shows aromas of red currants, black fruit and graphite. Bright and fresh on the palate with notes of black cherry, a balanced mid-palate and well-structured tannins give a lengthy, full finish.
